Term Two
Kia Ora
Welcome back to another fun and exciting term!
We have had to say good-bye to Teziah, Cameron, Buster and Koby, but we welcomed Heidi, Vincent and Jaxon.
It's been a great start to the term with us all learning about New Zealand and what being a part of New Zealand means.
Over the next few weeks we will be researching native animals of New Zealand.

Weeks 5 and 6
Kia Ora
A big welcome to Sydney-Rose, Everest and Stevie-Leigh.
Over the past few weeks we have been learning about the letters B and C. We made blueberry and banana smoothies and had a teddy bears picnic. We made cat masks, clowns and learn many new words each day.
Everyday we do our word works, spelling and reading and follow a very structured timetable which allows the children to settle into routines quickly.
Here are some recent photos.

Weeks 2 and 3
Well what an exciting and busy first few weeks we have had! We are learning to follow classroom rules and play and share nicely all the time.
Good words are great and saying mean things is not.
We like to do puzzles, use the play dough to create numbers, letters and objects, paint and cut and paste.
Each Friday we have a developmental morning and children who will be coming to start school soon visit. We love this day because we get to make new friends and we learn through play!
Take a look at our pictures and see if you can spot the pictures that show the children filling the kete! To new parents "Filling the Kete" is a term we have come up with. It means that we can all help make ourselves and others feel good about helping, caring, sharing and learning.
we love reading your comments - keep them coming!
