Hip Hop with Horace

Today we had Matua Horace from Sport Northland come into our school to teach Hip Hop to Te Maunga. The goals for today were to learn something new, to have fun and to exercise. Both children and teachers succeeded in their goals.

6 Students performed for the rest of the classes first.Great dancing after just half hour of learning the new steps.

Then we split into 2 groups groups to share what everyone had learnt.

  2. Hi Room 4,
My name is Tehanah and I am 10 years of age and I go to Tautoro school. I really enjoyed your hip hop dance because we have been working on a dance but our dance is based around Electronic waste. Maybe next time you could try say what the children found hard and easy about learning the dance. ka pai to mahi. Blog ya later.

    1. Hi Tehanah
Thanks for viewing our blog. We love learning Hip hop.
Do you have Horace to teach you as well? What we find hard is remembering all the moves. Even our teacher forgets.Bye
